Prayers for All…

For my relatives in Sendai, all of the people of Japan, for the healing of all of creation, I send prayers and well wishes with all my love. My heart is hurting for all, but my hopes and faith in Life for healing for all is stronger.

Your added prayers and support for any in need are always appreciated…take care of yourselves and one another.

Much love always,

Paula

Reconstruction

The website and work will have a lot of overhaul and construction ongoing for quite sometime. Sorry for the inconvenience, but am glad that those of you who had the opportunity to enjoy some of my photos were kind enough to send your lovely comments to us.

I am still very much (an unavoidably) entrenched in my job, and thank you for your understanding. It is truly very energy and time-consuming; I hope at some point to be able to spend more time on other projects.

Always all the best and love and enlightenment to you all,

Paula

Update on the books

The books will not be available this holiday season, and I apologize to all of you who were hoping to acquire copies for presents and such.

As earlier reported, I have started a new job, which is just massive in about every way possible. I have so much to learn (most estimate it is likely to take a year or two do learn my job duties), and it just does not leave time for most anything right now. I am very, very fortunate to have this wonderful opportunity, and my employer is one of the nicest persons I could ever wish with which to work!

I do need to find another place to live, and when able, will need to make a huge move in order to be closer to work…which all means that I do not have much time these days to work on much else, and I am really very sorry to report this to you.

I do plan on finding a place to accommodate my images, equipment and supplies necessary to keep forging on with my efforts to get my images out to all of you. It is just going to take longer than I had thought.

I do wish each and every one of you all the very best for a terrific holiday season.

Thanks as well for the get well wishes many of you sent. I am still getting treatment for my neck and back; it all just seems to take time…

Warmest wishes, be safe and well!

Fondly,

Paula

Twin Peaks UK Fest

I hope everyone had a great time at the fest. I got ill and threw out a rib and my neck/upper back, so was unable to join folks there, and I am really so sorry about missing it!

I know it must have been a wonderful gathering and celebration, and send my very best and lots of love to everyone who attended and all who worked so very hard to put together such an outstanding event.

Big hugs to you all! xoxox

Update on books…

Many of you are asking about the availability of “Northwest Passages” and other books for this holiday season.

As earlier reported, it is taking much longer to get the books ready. The most critical factor, which just occurred two weeks ago, is that I received and accepted a new job offer.

I am an important component in a large organization, so need time to learn my responsibilities for my employer and his companies. I would be derelict in my duties if I were not to do so. As well, I have a rather long commute now, and will eventually need to relocate my household. Enough said about that!

I REALLY hate to let you all down and truly hope you understand the situation. In this economy, it is a blessing to have this opportunity to explore, and hope that it ends up being a good match both for my employer and myself.

I am committed to getting “Northwest Passages” and other books/projects in mind completed as soon as I can during my “spare” time.

I hope that, with the results of the Twin Peaks Fan Festival in Washington, The Hollywood Show and the UK Twin Peaks Fan Festival, dugpa.com, twinpeaksarchive.com and my website that you find the holiday and other items you desire at this time.

I wish each of you and your loved ones all the best for happiness, good health and success at every level this holiday season and the years to come!

Always my best to you,

Paula

UK Bound!

My new employers are allowing me to keep my previous commitment to the Twin Peaks UK Fest, so I will be there with the beautiful slide show that Brian/Dugpa made for me, along with selected merchandise. Michael Horse signed copies of the collage I put together of some of my favorite images of him as Deputy Hawk.

I had the great pleasure of visiting Michael and his wife, Penny, at the Gene Autrey Museum last weekend. Michael still continues to amaze me with his brilliant and beautiful artwork. He still works with precious metals and stones, but his ledger art is educational, inspirational and healing for many. I hope you have a chance to visit his website: http://www.michaelhorse.com.

I am proud to announce a new piece I have been planning for some time, entitled: “It is happening again…it is happening again.” Can you guess what the images may be?

Thanks to all for the wonderful birthday wishes and congratulations on the new job. I am a very fortunate being!

My mom is working hard to keep up with learning how to ship your orders out, and I thank her for stepping up to the plate and helping out, since I am over 2 hours away from her and my pieces. We appreciate your patience as we go through this transition and learning period.

I also wish to take this time to wish you all a wonderful holiday season, soon upcoming…take care of yourselves and one another, and thank you for being so wonderfully YOU.

Life Changes

So much has happened the past two months or so, especially in the past two weeks. I feel I have been picked up in a tornado and am trying to figure out where I will be and what is happening…among those changes is that I suddenly found myself being offered and accepting a new and truly fantastic career opportunity. It happened very quickly, but also necessitates my having to move, leave my other job and do this immediately, as I start at my new job tomorrow.

This has already impacted my ability to multi-task, and I will only be able to work on orders twice per month, as my images and such will have to stay where they are, and I am too far away now to commute to work with them until I have free time on particular weekends or a holiday.

It also means that it is taking much more time for me to be able to work on my books. Until I can settle into my new job, find a place and move everything and set things up again, it will be very difficult to carve out time to work on them. I still plan on doing so, and it is just going to take more time while I go through this big event.

In this economy, I hope you all understand having to make these choices. Being able to share these images and experiences with you all is very important to me, but as those who work with me on these projects know, I actually put in a lot of time, energy and my own money to make them accessible to others.

I will keep you all updated on what is going on, and will do my very best to keep up with things. But, I am only human, and I have been overreaching already my energy and time reserves for the time being, and need to take the appropriate time and focus to make a successful transition to this new job.

I ask for your patience during this time, and will do my utmost to keep things going with regards to sharing with you some of my perspectives, experiences and images.

I wish each and every one of you the very best as we approach the holiday season, and thank you for your interest in my work.

Very fondly,

Paula

Whew! What a show!

It was a whirlwind weekend, and with the set ups, craziness and breaking things down, I had to get back to my daytime job, and have not had time to write much. That will come this weekend. Besides, I knew that others would be posting their own stuff, and I wanted (and had to) wait until I get through this work week. So, more stuff soon, and am sorting out the pre-orders and starting to pack them up carefully to get sent out to the very fortunate who were able to get their orders in on time!

Big hugs to all!

It is happening, at last…

I spent hours and hours at the Marriott Convention Center preparing for this wonderful gathering. The folks at the Hollywood Show, David and Kevin, have really gone all out in trying to make all of the talent and vendors feel welcome.

As i am sure you heard, last minute add-ons from Twin Peaks were Chris Mulkey and Walter Olkewicz. Kevin and David came by my table and said that the actors wanted to come but had no headshots, so they were not coming. My jaw dropped, and I could not believe what I was hearing! I told them to call back and tell them to come. Gosh, if I don’t have the photos, who does? So, with help from Mischa of Twin Peaks Archive and my wonderful printer, Kristen, images were e-mailed and I hope they got to the printer on time!

Well, gotta finish some stuff so I can show up and have a wonderful memory in the making. Hope to see you there!

Gearing up for the Hollywood Show!

Well, a bunch of us have been busy getting things together to help ensure a truly memorable, fun and exciting time together this weekend at the Burbank Marriott Convention Center.

New merchandise has been created, which I think will bring some laughs and some relief that there is new stuff for you to consider, merchandise-wise.

Being able to get signatures from the cast who are available this weekend is really a rare and exciting opportunity, but moreso, to touch base again and renew our friendships with one another is just priceless.

Oh, look at our table for Laura Palmer dolls that can be signed by Sheryl and other cast members, as well as trading cards, the first installment of such, all featuring my images.

So many headshots and other images are available, it is amazing to me that we got this all done.

Please have your pre-orders completed by tomorrow morning to ensure you have a good shot at fulfilling your request, as it is first-come, first-served.

Hope to see you there!
