Mischa of Twin Peaks Archive just tipped me off to a dream come true: Ray Wise just signed on to participate in the Hollywood Show’s Twin Peaks 20th Reunion this weekend at the Burbank Marriott! Wow! We all love Ray, and applaud his terrific achievements over the years. He and his lovely wife, Cass (sp?) were always just so kind and warm, as with all the rest of our terrific cast!
This is an amazing and welcome bit of news…Hope you are smiling like only Leland ever could!
I am excited to announce that I just committed to attending the inaugural Twin Peaks Fan Fest in the UK on November 27th! I was not sure I could handle adding more to my already overflowing plate of lovely Life offerings, but I could not pass up a wonderful chance to meet with some very wonderful fans in Europe!
I will have lots of surprises to share, which I will let the Twin Peaks UK Fest people announce and help handle, and eagerly await this grand adventure!
I have to work on my materials for the Hollywood Show now, as it will take place in just a week and a half!
So, talk to you all another time…watch out London! Here I come!
I was glad to hear that Catherine Coulson was added on to those appearing at Hollywood Show’s event in just a couple of weeks! When I received her response awhile ago, it seemed she had some other project that prevented her attendance. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful attendance from some of the best folks with whom I have worked!
We are all getting excited to see you all and one another; this is going to be quite an event for us all!
Remember to pre-book your ticket (see previous post for special coupon code)!
I know I am not the only one working long hours on getting some special items and such ready for the Hollywood Show, which comes up in just a few weeks. I am looking forward to meeting many of you, who have so kindly contacted me about your appreciation for my images. I cannot express how gratifying it is to hear from you, and am only sorry that I have been tremendously limited from corresponding with you all individually this summer.
As we move through fall, I am so happy to be back in touch with so many of the Twin Peaks cast and crew members and look forward to being able to do even more of that as time goes on.
Some of the images will hopefully be offered at the UK Twin Peaks Festival in November, and I wish I could be in attendance there. Maybe next year!
Enjoy a wonderful weekend, wherever you are and whatever you are doing!
It’s the first time since Jack Nance’s memorial that so many cast members from Twin Peaks will be in the same area! I am looking forward to reacquainting myself with so many old friends and making new ones. And, yes, I will be there with some of my favorite images from the show!
The folks from the show are doing a great job in ensuring that as many top celebrities will be there to meet, get autographs and photos (even with your fave actors), and it is lining up to be an amazing event. It is best to pre-order your tickets for the best value, and be sure to get the exclusive discounts available on their website. I have been informed that it is best to get your pre-order using the coupon code FB5OFF (and that you join them on Facebook for details). BUT, you don’t HAVE TO be on Facebook to get the discount.
Go to their website: hollywoodshow.com for more details.
I hope to meet you there!
FYI, I was asked to attend the Hollywood Show event Oct 8-10 in Burbank, CA (part of Los Angeles), at the Marriott Burbank Convention Center (2500 Hollywood Way). On October 8th, there will be a preview of vendors, and NO celebrities, FYI.
It looks like many former TP castmembers are attending this event, and I am looking forward to seeing them. And, yes, I’ll have more images there for cast and public, so those who can make it can view some of my images in person.
James Marshall has committed to attend as well as others, including Sheryl Lee, Sherilynn Fenn, Charlotte Stewart, Russ Tamblyn. A bunch of us are working on contacting others hope we can get a bunch more folks there for a real 20 year reunion. Just thought you would like to know!
For more information about the show and the guests already confirmed, please visit their website at www.hollywoodshow.com or check out their blog at www.hollywoodshow.wordpress.com.
Gearing up to fly up to Portland and meet up with Mischa (TP Archives) and then drive up early Friday AM to Snoqualmie for the Meet & Greet, afterwards heading for Seattle to the Met Museum for Film Night.
Last night I saw Kristen Makarczyk, my printer, who has done an outstanding job on the prints. Several of my images have had new life breathed into them and will be on display Friday evening only, and I hope you can make it!
After my meeting with Kristen, I spent some hours with Brian (Dugpa) who, despite some pretty nasty software issues put together a very compelling and amazing slideshow of several hundred images from the thousands I shot during my time with Lynch/Frost Productions. I was floored at how, with so little time, Brian was able to weave such a touching, poetic, insightful and magical tapestry from many different areas of my portfolio. It was stunning for me to realize how much I love these images, at how much I enjoy them.
Through careful exploration and consideration, I hope to incorporate input from cast, crew and fans on what they would like to see and in what formats in the future. It may take awhile, but I’m going to enjoy this wonderful and blessed experience. I hope it brings some measure of pleasure for you, as well.
Thanks to you all for your support and interest in my work!
We are keeping very, very busy in preparation for our appearance at the Twin Peaks Fan Festival, as we all gather to celebrate 20 years of this iconic television series!
I will be present at the Meet & Greet on Friday with Mischa Cronin (Twin Peaks Archive), thanks to the organizers of the festival, Jared Lyon and Amanda Hicks. We are very grateful for the very hard work that they put into the festival and are here in support of their efforts to ensure that this is a truly wonderful and memorable event. That same evening, there will be an exclusive display of some select photographs I took during the series at the Seattle Met Museum for film night, thanks to Greg Olson, curator of the museum.
For those who wish, we are offering an opportunity to purchase some of the images onsite at both the meet and greet and in the lobby at film night, so if you are attending, you’re in for a terrific treat!
Thanks to Brian (Dugpa), a terrific and exclusive presentation of some of my photos (a sneak peak at my books) will premiere at film night including some of favorite images I took while visiting the set of “Wild At Heart,” which, incidentally, also enjoys its 20th Anniversary this month! I appreciate as well the hard work and efforts made by Chris Spilante and Kristen Makarczyk for helping to format and get the prints out in such great form on such a short timetable. Most of these images have never before been viewed; this is the first public presentation of my work in this regard. I look forward to your response!
In the spirit of giving back to the fans, festival attendees will be able to enjoy a 20% discount (show us your badge!) on Friday, PLUS, you will save on shipping and handling. This is a rare opportunity, so I hope that many of you can take advantage of it!
We look forward to seeing those of you who can make it. For all of you terrific Twin Peaks fans out there, thanks for being so loyal and supportive of this wonderful series!
Please let us know if you have any questions/comments.
Hope to see you there!
James Marshall loved my idea, The Book of James. There is a lot I could write about James. We have known one another for 20 years and have gotten to know one another’s families quite well.
For those who do not know, James Marshall’s story of the past several years has gone global. Rumor is that Good Morning America wants him on their show. I don’t need to re-hash what is out there already…there is more than enough information that Bloomberg, the NY Times, London Times and many (!) other media sources.

I ask you to simply keep James and his family in your thoughts and prayers, as they embark upon this next step throughout the trial agains Roche Pharmaceuticals. The defense attorneys and Roche will likely do their best to discredit them antagonize, humiliate and throw them off balance. They will need all the help and support possible.
James, his family and I were grateful to learn that Accutane had been removed from the market earlier this year. HOWEVER, generics are STILL being sold, so please beware!
In light of this situation, a significant portion of the sales of the items on PurelyPaula are going to James and his family while they involved in this gigantic fight.
Your prayers and support for them will be greatly (!) appreciated!
It has been super busy, and am in the midst of preparing for a number of surprises that I hope will please you! I’ve been able to figure out a way to get time off to attend Film Night at the Seattle Art Museum on Friday, August 6th, thanks to Mischa Cronin (Twin Peaks Archive), Dugpa.com, Greg Olson (Seattle Art Museum), Kristen Makarczyk and Chris Spitale.
LOTS of my photos and surprises will be there with a sneak peek at what we’ve been working on with regards to the book and stuff that you fans have been asking about.
Gotta go now, but keep an eye out for more info to come your way!
